recreation commission
The Mendota Recreation Commission consists of seven Recreation Commissioners who serve four-year terms. The goal of the Recreation Commission is to enhance the quality of life for residents by developing, promoting, and overseeing recreational programs and facilities. The recreation commission works collaboratively with local organizations, schools, and businesses to ensure that the recreational needs of the community are met. By managing parks, sports facilities, and other recreational resources, the commission helps to create a vibrant, active, and inclusive community where residents can enjoy leisure, build social connections, and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
The Mendota Recreation Commission meets on the first Thursday of every month at 12:00 p.m. in the Mendota City Council Chambers located at 725 Riofrio Street, Mendota, CA 93640.
