planning commission

The Mendota Planning Commission consists of five regular Planning Commissioners who serve four-year terms and one Alternate Commissioner who is appointed each time a vacancy occurs. The Planning Commission plays a crucial role in shaping the community’s future by guiding land use and development in alignment with the city’s long-term vision and goals. The Planning Commission is responsible for reviewing and making recommendations on zoning changes, subdivision plans, and site development proposals. It ensures that growth is sustainable, orderly, and enhances the quality of life for residents.

The Mendota Planning Commission meets on the third Tuesday of every month at 6:30 p.m. in the Mendota City Council Chambers located at 643 Quince Street, Mendota, CA 93640.
